Radiology (X-Ray)

Radiology, also known as x-ray, is an imaging tool that produces pictures of the bones and other parts of the body. Diagnostic radiology uses ionizing radiation.  During an x-ray, the ionizing radiation or x-ray passes through bone and tissues and an image is recorded on a film or a picture archiving system.

X-rays are the most commonly used imaging method and are a safe and effective diagnostic tool.
