Diabetes Self Care Management Center

The High Point Regional Health System Diabetes Self Care Management Center provides comprehensive and individual education for type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes and gestational diabetes.  The education includes:

  • Label Reading Classes

Insulin and Diabetes Medication Administration

  • Self Blood-Glucose Monitoring
  • Foot, Skin and Dental Care Guidelines

  • Behavior Change Strategies, Goal Setting, Risk Factor Reduction and Problem Solving

  • Continuous Subcutaneous Insulin Infusion Pump Assessment and Education
  • 72 Hour Continuous Glucose Monitoring

Staff members are available from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Tuesday - Friday for physician referral and assistance.
