Carolina Regional Heart Center is unique in our region, providing a full spectrum of cardiac services in one modern facility staffed by cardiologists and cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons. We are proud to provide this facility to our patients, not only from High Point, but surrounding communities as well.
The 132,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art Carolina Regional Heart Center opened in January 2001. The center is an outpatient facility dedicated to providing patients with the full spectrum of cardiac services. The center houses Carolina Cardiology Cornerstone and our cardiothoracic surgery team at the UNC Cardiothoracic Surgery at High Point.
For more than 29 years, Carolina Cardiology Cornerstone has provided highly skilled physicians, a caring staff and the latest technology to diagnose and treat heart disease, helping patients live longer, more active lives. Each board certified cardiologist specializes in diagnosis, treatment, education and rehabilitation using cutting-edge technology to treat cardiac risk factors such as blood pressure, cholesterol, smoking and lack of exercise.
Our highly skilled cardiovascular and thoracic surgery team at UNC Cardiothoracic Surgery at High Point is committed to the mission of treating those suffering from cardiovascular disease like disorders of the heart, aorta and blood vessels, using state-of-the-art technology, including minimally invasive techniques. Our surgeons have more than 50 years of experience in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery.
