High Point Regional Health System recognized as a Family-Friendly Company by Carolina Parenting Inc.
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Noted for on-site child care, two fitness centers, flexible work schedules, outstanding employee benefits, and weekly farmers markets in the summer, High Point Regional Health System recently received recognition as one of the 50 top family-friendly companies in North Carolina.
“This award truly goes to our employees who give us fresh ideas to be family-friendly and then fully use the services that can help them find balance between work and family.” said Katherine Burns, vice president, People Services.
In addition to the two fitness centers, which employees may use before or after work, or during lunch, High Point Regional offers employees a complete Wellness Program, including monthly programs on topics such as financial planning, health, stress management and women’s issues offered free during work hours. Supplemental benefits include an on-site employee care clinic, a retail pharmacy and discounts to local restaurants and services in the community.
“At High Point Regional, we have a culture of caring for our patients and our employees, so we are honored that we were recognized by Carolina Parenting Inc. We want to continue to find ways to help employees, help themselves and their families.”
